I'm keepin' it simple: Waffle house has very good basic food served quickly at reasonable prices with consistently pleasant service. They got the big four down to a science. Oh...and if you want breakfast for dinner no problem. It may not be the most healthy cooked meal, but I'm a fan who comes back once every couple of months for some comfort food.

I was a little worried when I went in for lunch the last time I was there because even though they knew I was sitting at the counter, I wasn't sure I was going to be served or waited on because they were so busy doing other things. I looked at the menu and when I wanted to order I said so. I still had to wait until a different person came over to take my order. My mood was beginning to sour. I was hungry and wanted to order so I could eat. She took my order; I got my coffee; and the cook took his time starting my order and didn't seem too worried about how soon it would be done; he was working on other orders so I will take that into consideration. However, when my food was ready, the cook brought it over to me and served it too my hot and straight off the grill. It was cooked thoroughly like it should be, and it was just as good as it was the last time we were there. When I got my food and ate, my mood improved because I was eating. This time when I was there, there were none of the same people who were there the last time that I was there. I kinda expected the same people to be there, but I suppose that I should have known better. I still like this location.

My nephew chose to go to Waffle House sunday morning after dropping the furry baby at the Watering Bowl for the day. the service was not that spectacular. I think our waitress was was still new. I can handle that, but I did not get a refill on my coffee. Another server took my food to someone else. I ask for hashbrowns with cheese sauce, onions, and ham. I did not get it. I was just told her to make sure I did not get charged for the extras. she almost forgot to put my chili on my omlette. i had to ask three times for forks. even after we got our food i had to ask for forks. My nephews waffle was burnt. The waitress saw it was burnt, asked him if he wanted a different one. he said no he was cool with it. if she saw it was too dark why would she serve it. I will definately go up the road to tesson ferry for my waffle fix. I stoppped ordering meats because they don't use any kind of utensils or gloves to handle raw meat, then cooks the rest of your food. i would be back but it will be another year.

Went in for an early morning breakfast & ordered: single waffle, smothered hash browns, milk, sirloin steak and eggs, came with a biscuit & hash browns. The ENTIRE morning staff today was beyond AWESOME!!!! They all went above & beyond to ensure we were fed & ate good!!!! The conversation & food was 110% PERFECT & my son was pleased & thrilled with everything! We will be back!

First off, I tell you right now I think the Waffle House chain is so good. This one in particular is one of my favorites. The staff is tops. The food is comforting, and tasty. The prices are very reasonable. I can take my family of 5 out for under $25 including a 20% tip.
